We begin the year with a FBLA Kick Off meeting where we show a year in review highlight video. This year we are also including some icebreaker activities to get the students more involved. Our meetings are held every block of the day and include all of our business education students.

At McBee we have what we call a "club rush" where any club that wants to take part in it can. During lunches every club sets up a table or booth of some sort and tries to recruit members. For our FBLA booth we typically let the officers run it so that some can stay at the booth, which consists of our banner, candy for those who sign up, a slide show of past trips and services projects playing on a laptop, and a board that has pictures and such that describe what we plan on our FBLA chapter doing this year. We also let some of the other officers walking around the area and speaking to the students to help get them interested.
